Taban announced as a finalist in  2026 SDG Action Awards

Our Founder and CEO Taban has been unveiled as a finalist in the prestigious Heroes of Tomorrow: UN SDG Action Awards for 2026.

Taban’s nomination for the Changemaker Award reflects how she has used her own experiences of displacement and rebuilding her life to enable other displaced women to regain control over their futures.

After receiving more than 7,000 applications, just nine global finalists across three categories were announced, and the awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, 29 October 2026 in Rome, Italy.

“Taban’s journey shows what
can follow displacement and suffering: rebuilding, remaining connected and creating
opportunities for other women
to shape the next chapter of
their own lives.”
