The Lotus Flower is a non-governmental organization which empowers vulnerable women and girls so The Lotus Flower is a non-governmental organisation which is legally registered in the Federal Government of Baghdad and KRI. The Lotus Flower programs empower vulnerable women, girls and other community members so that they are safe, have opportunities to learn, the tools to become financially independent and the freedom to lead change. We provide safe social spaces inside refugee & IDP camps and implement projects to help them rebuild their lives and earn a living. We run multiple women’s and children centers for the IDP, refugee and host community in Iraq and have mobile teams in areas where static centers are not feasible.
The Lotus Flower services work to fill resource gaps by providing community-responsive programming which changes over time in response to feedback but revolves around 6 pillars from the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals:

Climate Change

Position Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Research Consultant with a strong focus on mental health quantitative data analysis and research results reporting. The consultant will work closely with the lead researcher, providing technical and editorial support for the research— mainly data analysis and data reporting, and making the necessary editions needed after peer-review comments.
This is a consultancy-based role that allows flexible working arrangements. However, frequent coordination and scheduled meetings with the researcher are required to ensure progress and alignment.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
· Collaborate with the researcher for data analysis and results reporting to peer-reviewed publication according to the research variables and data.
· Conduct the quantitative data analysis, with a particular focus on regression-based methods, using SPSS software.
· Interpret, format, and report statistical results according to APA-style reporting standards.
· Draft and revise relevant sections of the research paper, including data and results and parts of the discussion.
· Provide professional feedback on all relevant research components to the results section, making methodological and editorial adjustments as needed.
· Remain available after submission to support with responses to peer-reviewer comments and any revisions requested by the journal.
Qualifications and Requirements
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field. Degrees from unrelated disciplines will not be considered.
· Proven experience in conducting data analysis, particularly using SPSS for regression analysis and other advanced quantitative methods in the field of mental health research.
· At least three peer-reviewed research publications, listed clearly in the CV or cover letter.
· Strong familiarity with APA referencing style and APA-compliant result reporting.
· Excellent written and verbal English proficiency, as all research documentation and reporting will be in English.
· Experience drafting and editing sections of academic research, especially in the results, discussion, and conclusions.
· Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive approach to remote collaboration.
